Peel's water leaves its mark on your machines
Mississauga's tap water comes from Lake Ontario through Peel Region's Arthur P. Kennedy and Lorne Park treatment plants, and the Region rates it moderately hard — roughly 120–190 mg/L as calcium carbonate. That mineral load slowly chokes the small water paths in your appliances: dishwasher spray jets and drain pumps, washing-machine inlet-valve screens, and the dual-solenoid valves that feed fridge dispensers and ice makers.
It's why "fills slowly," "won't fill," and "dispenser trickles" calls are routine in Mississauga. We descale the screens and small passages where that's enough, and fit OEM valves and pumps where scale has already stiffened the mechanism — parts the van carries.
Dispatch logistics, honestly stated
Dispatch runs from central Toronto along the Gardiner Expressway–QEW corridor, with Highway 403 and 427 as alternates around peak traffic. That puts the whole city — City Centre, Cooksville, Erin Mills, Streetsville, Clarkson, Meadowvale, and Malton — inside our normal same-day and next-day routing, booked in windows so you're not waiting on a vague "sometime today."
Condo towers and established streets need different service
The towers around Square One and City Centre run stacked washer-dryer combos and ventless dryers in tight closets. We carry the low-profile tooling for them, and the work is WSIB-compliant with $2M liability — the paperwork Mississauga property managers ask for before a contractor touches a suite.
Out in Port Credit, Clarkson, and Streetsville, the calls look different: established homes with 240V ranges, wall ovens, and appliances old enough that the repair-or-replace question matters. We answer it honestly — elements, pumps, and belts are nearly always worth fixing; a seized compressor in year 13 usually isn't.
Calls we run in Mississauga every week
Front-load washers stopping full of water (drain-pump debris plus scale-stiffened valves — Samsung's 5C/5E code is the classic); dishwashers tripping their leak protection, from Bosch's E15 to the LG AE/E1 base-pan faults we trace and seal in Mississauga townhomes; and fridge dispensers slowed to a trickle by calcified inlet valves, bypass-tested and replaced with OEM parts on the spot.
